Want to help our mission? Donate to the Rural Water Association of Arizona. Your donation will enable disadvantaged water and wastewater systems to participate in our conference, often allowing us to cover their costs. Contributions will support our conference fund, covering expenses for supplies, food, and other necessary items, ensuring a successful and enriching experience for all attendees.

Operator Certification Training
Free Technical Training
We are happy to announce that we provide specialized trainings that help water operators pass their certification examinations, gain expertise, and become more skilled members of the workforce. Operators also have the opportunity to earn PDHs at our trainings.
This program provides accredited operator certification training, board member training, and on-site technical assistance that supports the specific needs of small water system personnel, tribal systems, and overburden systems.

Clean drinking water and safe wastewater treatment are vital to the health and safety of Americans. With the support of our State Associations, NRWA strives to protect the quality of life in America, while supporting the grassroots efforts required to help rural communities thrive.
AZ Department of Environmental Quality
We administer the state’s environmental laws and delegated federal programs to prevent air, water and land pollution and ensure cleanup.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
When the water in our rivers, lakes, and oceans becomes polluted; it can endanger wildlife, make our drinking water unsafe, and threaten the waters where we swim and fish. EPA research supports efforts under the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act.
